#40 Facts: Bask under the stage lights of The Cut Bar

Did you ever notice that our restaurant/bar The Cut Bar is lit by theatre lights?

If you haven’t been to our bar before, you must come for a visit. It’s open from 9am till late and the menu often includes production-themed drinks and food, so there is always something different offered.

Plus Fiona Shaw calls it ‘the sexiest bar in London’!

#40 Facts: We’re built on a slope!

Although you may not feel like it when you’re inside the Young Vic… We are actually built on a slope! The back of the building is a whole metre lower than the front of the building, because Greek Street (the road behind us) is one metre lower than The  Cut…

Who would have thought it!

DBC’s Margarita

Step 1: Take 12 fresh pomegranate seeds & a slice of orange. Muddle gently.
Step 2: Add 35 ml El Jimador tequila, 15 ml Pomegranate Liqueur, a dash of agave (or sugar) syrup and 20 ml fresh lime.
Step 3: Shake & pour over ice or straight up in a Martini glass.

It’s a Dirty But Clean Margarita. Served at The Cut Bar at the Young Vic (to over 18s). Made especially for Vernon God Little (written by DBC Pierre), now extended until 12 March due to popular demand (yeeha!)
