Meet the cast of The Events

rudi and neve

Neve McIntosh and Rudi Dharmalingham to star alongside a live choir in The Events.

Rudi starred alongside James Corden in the original cast of the National Theatre’s sell-out production of ‘The History Boys’. More recently, he appeared in Headlong’s ‘Brilliant, Tense and Completely Gripping’ production of The Seagull.

Neve is most famous for playing Madam Vastra in Doctor Who (though you probably won’t recognise her from beneath the terrifying mask). On stage, she recently played the villainous Goneril in a production of King Lear at the West Yorkshire Playhouse.

The Events plays at the Young Vic from 9 October – 2 November. The company moved into the Clare Studio at the Young Vic last week. They will head  north to Edinburgh for the Festival before returning here in the autumn.

Find out more about the show and book tickets at youngvic.org or the Actors Touring Company website.
