Can you describe your character in Bull in three words?
Tight. Tight. Tight.

What are you usually doing 10 minutes before the show begins?
Laughing. I’m in a dressing room with 3 very naughty actors. We have to laugh before we go on stage and be vile to each other.

What is your favourite play (seen, read or worked on)?
Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train. Stephen Adly Guirgis is one of my favourite writers.

What is your favourite midnight snack?
Does whisky count?

What is your favourite word?
Gloaming – it describes that time in the day between light and dark.

What are you most passionate about?
Animal welfare – I foster animals for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. They do the most incredible job.

If days were 28 hours long, what would you do with the 4 extra hours?
4 hours is a weird time, too short to go anywhere interesting, I don’t know.

Favourite holiday you’ve ever been on?
My husband and I road-tripped along the West Coast from LA to Vancouver- that was pretty spectacular.

Favourite city and why?
Tokyo – where I was born. It’s a mental blend of old and new.

What is your favourite song?
Home by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes

If you could have any one supernatural power which would you choose and why?
Teleportation – then those 4 extra hours wouldn’t matter. I could be anywhere I want in the world in the blink of an eye.

Bull is at the Young Vic until 14 Feb and tickets are now sold out. Call on the day of the performance for returns on 020 7922 2922.
