Ana Beatriz Meireles is currently playing Witch/Child in Macbeth at the Young Vic. Here are her answers to our 11 Questions…

Can you describe your character in Macbeth in three words?
Wicked, powerful and manipulative.

What are you usually doing 10 minutes before the show begins?
Going for a wee!!

What is your favourite play (seen, read or worked on)?
Amália by Filipe La Féria.

What is your favourite word?
Holiday.

What are you most passionate about?
Moving!

If you could be in a room full of any one thing, what would it be?
Brownies.

Favourite holiday you’ve ever been on?
Tunisia.

Favourite city and why?
Porto, because it’s home!

What is your favourite song?
Cody by Mogwai.

If you could have been born in any era, which would it be and why?
The 20s, for the music and hairstyle.

If you could have any one supernatural power which would you choose and why?
To fly!!!! Be free like a bird and give my feet some rest!
