Our good friends at Curtain Call took some stunning backstage photography of our recent YV productions and we’re excited to share some of the photos with you.
Curtain Call was founded by John Schwab and Matt Humphrey and together they are producing a book that will feature exclusive backstage photography of shows throughout London theatre from a unique perspective.

Drama!

Sleep for 2 more hours, play and read.

Enabling. Prescriptive. Stuck.

What are you usually doing 10 minutes before the show begins?
Putting on make-up and costume and yawning – I yawn a lot before going on stage. I think it’s a weird coping mechanism for nerves.

What is your favourite play (seen, read or worked on)?
I loved seeing August Osage County at the National Theatre.

What is your favourite word?
Marble/Gloaming.

If days were 28 hours long, what would you do with the 4 extra hours?
Probably worry about why the earth had changed its orbit.

If you could be in a room full of any one thing, what would it be?
Ha!
